Do Inversion Tables Really Work?

Have you ever been awake during the wee hours of the morning, turned on the TV, started channel surfing and all that was on were those crazy infomercials?

They are everywhere and they run the gamut from miracle cooking gadgets to fat busting exercise equipment.

I can always tell what health themed infomercial product is running because I always get asked in the office “Does that (fill in the blank infomercial product) really work?”

It All Depends

My response….it all depends.  Some of the products actually do as they promise and aren’t all that bad.  However most of the products are junk and they are just trying to push as much junk as they can in the shortest period of time in order to rake in as much cash as possible.

Lately one of the more popular questions I’ve been getting asked is, “Do inversion tables really work and are they worth it?”

Again my response….it all depends.

For those of you that aren’t familiar with inversion tables they are those funky looking tables that you lock your ankles into and then flip up side down to stretch out your spine.  Below is a picture of an example.
